Admission
Admission Requirements
Coram Deo residents must be over 18 with a sincere commitment to long-term sobriety. In most cases it will be necessary for an applicant to have completed an inpatient substance abuse treatment program as the emphasis at Coram Deo is sober living. That decision, however, will be made during the phone interview and the caller will be referred to other appropriate facilities if more intensive treatment is necessary. Every potential resident must be medically cleared before entering treatment at Coram Deo as we do not have medical staffing. Certain medications, such as opioids, benzodiazepines, and amphetamines, are not allowed at Coram Deo.
Click here for our full medication policy and list. We do accommodate Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) such as Suboxone or Methodone.

The Admissions Process
The admissions process begins with a phone interview with a member of the Coram Deo Recovery Team. If the prospective resident is appropriate for Coram Deo an intake will be scheduled and an admission packet must be filled out and faxed back to us at 860-333-1264.
If you would like to schedule a visit or have a loved one come for a visit we are happy to make those arrangements.
Though the minimum length of stay is 30 days, we have seen the rates of success increase dramatically after 90 days and the majority of our residents opt for a stay from six to twelve months with many residents choosing to stay for several years.
Coram Deo accepts “Basic Needs” through the Behavioral Health Recovery Program (BHRP) and private pay residents. To find out more about this program you can visit their website, www.abhct.com or call them directly at 1-800-658-4472.
A copy of our fees can be found here. Please feel free to contact us any time for information regarding admissions, fees and availability.
